Designed with a modern architectural approach, the extension incorporates a pitched roof with shading, weatherboard cladding, and landscaping that reflects the local tropical style.

The blue color of the roof and walls matches the original color scheme of the existing building.

The interior will showcase a modern design style, with an ambulant disabled toilet designed to comply with AS 1428.1-2009 and BCA Performance Requirement DP2.

Fire and emergency provisions will meet AS 2444 standards, and the establishment will include a liquor license.

The design respects the building's heritage architecture, with an ambulant disabled toilet compliant with AS 1428.1-2009 and BCA Performance Requirement CP4.
